LA LA LA LA LA!!!!! Just a little disgusted with the U.K. right now. Never mind.
Anyway, life is ok at the moment. Got 100 on my biology midterm, 5 of 7 dance numbers are learned, and I figured out a way to be in the spring musical!
What I would really like to say though, is that WOULD PEOPLE STOP BEING JERKS TOWARD THOSE WHO MIGHT LEAD OUR COUNTRY?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I am sick of every body complaining about the presidential canidates! This person did this, or thinks that, or said this, or wants this to happen. That person doesn't know what's good for the country, or that person aught to know better, or talk straight! If everybody would stop bad mouthing other people, no matter what they think, things would improve. Now, I'm not saying that some of the canidates are correct in everything they do or say. Far from it. What I'm saying is that we have a responsiblitly to behave with respect towards everyone else!
Respect is not just reserved for those in office. Would you say what you are saying about the canidates to their faces? or would you say that type of thing to your mother's face? what about your wife, or husband? If you would not say it to someone you know, about them, don't say it at all! If you know that they would be offended if you said it to their face, THEN DON'T AFRICAN SAY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To the Small One...
When a person makes a decision to run for the presidency, he (or she, God forbid...) is putting his name, ideals, political standpoint, etc, etc, under public scrutiny. It is the duty of informed americans to look at the candidates prayerfully and carefully, discuss the candidates views with others, and then vote accordingly. There is a difference between picking and blogging about a normal, everyday persons views, and ones that a presidential candidate has. May I remind you that it is the choice of the candidate to run for office, and that he is the one volunteering the information. Also, I should make it clear that I am not talking about things which happened a long time ago. If John McCain did drugs back in the 80's, I don't care, it's irrelevant, and should not be reported at all. This would be what I would be termed as gossip. However, you need to broaden your perspective of what constitutes gossip when concerning people that are running for public office, especially the office of president. I should point out that in the post that I'm sure you are referring to, I did not insult Senator McCain. I merely pointed out that he has major shortcomings in his economic strategies, and this should be considered by those who would vote for him.
Like the pink...
FYI, After looking again at your post, I would absolutely say every single thing in my posts about McCain to his face.
A. I was not mentioning specific names, I.E. YOU! but am just fed up with everybody. Yes the canidates are under scrutiny, but that does not allow rumors, whether true or not to be spread. Trash talking is not appropriate. B. No, there is not a difference. They are still people. It doesn't matter whether it happened 10 years ago, or 10 days ago, TRASH TALKING IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CHRISTIANS!!!!!
gracious......
hey, at least discussion is occuring.
you're both right. Trash talking is never appropriate, but there's a difference between deciding to attack a person's character out of spite and carefully considering their past history in making choices and their conduct in carrying out those choices when that person is going to be elected by you to a position of authority. So long as you keep the difference in mind, you're fine.
